STORY
The Alberta Women of Industry Committee was established in 2019 as a non-profit society.
The Committee was formed with the vision to bring women from a variety of industries together to promote collaboration, celebrate leadership and foster the continued professional achievements of its members. The idea to connect women across a spectrum of industries is essential to our mandate, as we all gain when we all succeed.

CHARITABLE PARTNER
Our 2026 charitable partner is McDougall House.

For over 50 years, McDougall House has offered compassion and a trauma-informed, women-centered recovery program that helps individuals struggling with addiction to reclaim their lives.
As one of Alberta’s few women-only addiction recovery facilities, McDougall House fills a critical gap by providing specialized, gender-responsive care.
The ultimate goal is to provide compassionate, bed-based addiction treatment for women committed to maintaining their sobriety.
