The Alberta Women of Industry Committee was established in 2019 as a non-profit society.
The Committee was formed with the vision to bring women from a variety of industries together to promote collaboration, celebrate leadership and foster the continued professional achievements of its members. The idea to connect women across a spectrum of industries is essential to our mandate, as we all gain when we all succeed.

Our 2025 charitable partner is Alberta Dreams.

Alberta Dreams believes that every child facing a severe chronic or life-threatening illness deserves a moment of joy, hope, and excitement. Their mission is simple: they make dreams come true for children in Alberta battling serious medical conditions, giving them and their families a break from hospital stays, treatments, and daily struggles.

A fulfilled dream isn’t just a fun experience, it’s a powerful source of strength, courage, and healing. It provides a much-needed escape, creating lasting memories for the child and their loved ones.

Alberta Dreams is the only wish-granting organization in Alberta dedicated specifically to children with severe chronic illnesses. Many of these children do not qualify for other wish programs, but their daily reality is still filled with medical challenges. Whether they require ongoing hospital care, specialized medical equipment, or intensive treatments, Alberta Dreams recognizes their hardships and believes they deserve the magic of a dream come true.
